Help from the Public. Airline Security Agent, Airline Employee or experienced flyer with pets?

Ok guys ….. I've heard from a couple of you regarding your personal opion, and appreciate your personal wisdom. But I would greatly appreciate some feedback from experienced travelers w / pets, Public. Airport Security Agent or the airline. You can travel with a child on your lap for free, until they are 2 (maybe 3 if they are small), but it cost $ 90.00 one way ($ 180.00 round-trip) to bring a little cat in a soft-sided pet travel bag that my continued in a single segment, 1 1 / 2 hour. flight. seriously, for 20.00 U.S. dollars, he could have his own seat ticket. I work at the airport and in the last 5 years. TSA did not look at your boarding card to a pet marking, and they do not care at all whatsoever, if you have a pet. The airline will look at it but when you get to the gate. Then they will know if you have pets or not. If you are thinking of trying to sneak a pet on, I would not do it. I've seen people try this before and it resulted in them being permanently barred from traveling on that airline.
