Where can I find info on Imperial antique clocks?
I have a small sterling imperial hole type look – inside the matter is many things: # 85056 – 0925 in a rectangle – # 6051 – model 152 – FFBA43 – a duck – 17 jewels – Imperial Watch Company – Swiss – the edge / edge are two more ducks – 8Xp It seems to be in near perfect shape, but not run and the second hand is loose inside the crystal – I would love to have this work and wear it – but is it worth fixing?
http://www.specialtygiftitems.com/pocketwatchcentral/PW9.html look here maybe you'll get an idea of what is worth seeing. 17 jewels seem to be the stand type of good luck

Near Perfect $3.98 Eric Jerome Dickey hailed Sharon Mitchell’s novel, Nothing but the Rent, as "sparkling, spirited, soulful, and sensational . . . a magnificent debut." The Philadelphia Tribune compared it to the novels of Terry McMillan-"an entertaining and illuminating study of female bonding." Now the acclaimed author gives us Near Perfect, a novel about love and friendship and the powerful ties that hold women-and men-together. For the past five years, Roxanne’s life has been near perfect: Her husband, Jamal, is a football star, and they have a strong relationship. But when tragedy strikes, Roxanne will need all the support she can get. Her old friends Gayle, Monique, and Cynthia, busy with their own lives, come to the rescue. Yet even they are powerless against the scandals and nasty allegations that erupt around her. It is Linc, her husband’s best friend, who helps Roxanne cope with her sudden upheavels and notoriety. But a devastating secret and the unexpected appearance of another woman force Roxanne to confront some painful truths-about Jamal, Linc, and herself. |

Perfect $12.48 Despite her best intentions, Kick Keswick–international jewel thief, fabulous dresser, gourmet cook, and woman-about-town–finds herself drawn into the glamorous, dangerous world of jewels (and the people who covet them)….It should have been the start of a perfect sojourn in Provence. Kick Keswick had just settled down to warm chocolate soufflĂ© with a decadently rich Grand Marnier sauce and a small glass of Armagnac when she receives startling news: the personal jewels of the Queen of England herself have gone missing, and she wants Kick to get them back. Most of the world knows Kick as an expert in jewels and antiquities, having been the right hand at Ballantine & Company Auctioneers in London, but others know Kick as the world’s finest jewel thief, a woman who can stand out in a crowd at will, but who can also blend in when she wants to. So the chase is on, in a race that takes her from Provence to Paris, London, St. Moritz, and Milan–and puts all her wiles and talents to the test as she faces a thief whose skills match her own. And with Kick Keswick on the case, there will be trouble afoot–of the multifaceted kind. With sophistication, wit, and insider details, Perfect is a madcap adventure that takes you on a quest for the things that make life worth living…or at least worth talking about. |

Perfect Murder, Perfect Town $7.99 In Perfect Murder, Perfect Town, Lawrence Schiller thoroughly recreates every aspect of the complex case of the death of JonBenét Ramsey. A brilliant portrait of an inscrutable family thrust under the spotlight of public suspicion and an affluent, tranquil city torn apart by a crime it couldn’t handle, Perfect Murder, Perfect Town uncovers the mysteries that have bewildered the nation. Why were the Ramseys, the targets of the investigation, able to control the direction of the police inquiry? Can the key to the murder be found in the pen and writing pad used for the ransom note? Was it possible for an intruder to have killed JonBenét? |
