Is there any way to redeem Marlboro Miles?

I've been saving Marlboro miles this year and just found out that they are no longer accepted. Is it fair? Should they have put an experation date on them? I feel very cheated because I was invited to save them for larger donations from Phillip Morris, and now is useless!
